CPACC Study Notes
Introduction
Hi! I am currently in the process of studying for the International Association of Accessibility Professional's Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies exam. I write new notes every day in Notes by referencing the exam's Body of Knowledge and all of its linked sources.
This page is an attempt to organize my notes to be more usable, as I am tackling the material in a non-linear fashion and am constantly distracted and preoccupied by other material, which I also write about alongside my study notes.
So within this blog-within-a-blog, I post just the notes, with the hopes they can help you on your journey. Caution; the entries are not yet checked for grammar and spelling. Proceed at your own risk.
As I am currently not done everything, reference this legend to see the status of each section:

FAQ
- When are you writing the CPACC?
- I am writing in the January/Febuary 2025 session and am preparing using the October 2023 Body of Knowledge. I won't know the exact date that I sit the exam until later.
- Are you using the Deque or Princeton courses?
- I am focusing my efforts on the Body of Knowledge and linked sources, but I do have access to the Deque course. I have issues with that one though.
- Are you writing in person or online?
- I much prefer writing exams with pen and paper, so I am going to try my best to write the exam in person. I live in a weird area, so this may not be possible.
- Has anyone actually asked you any of these questions frequently?
- Nope!
